Funeral for Henry ‘Jack’ Allen, 74, of Hartselle was Sunday, Nov. 12, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapelwith the Revs. Gene Lankford and Jeri Hunt officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mr. Allen died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. He was born Mach 25, 1932 , in Morgan County to Bert and Zora Morris Allen. He was a member of Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church where he was a Sunday school teacher, choir member and a member of the Men’s Club. He retired from Monsanto and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Allen was a loving husband and father, who loved all of his grandchildren. He lived his faith the way he faced death. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hoyt Allen.
He is survived by his wife, Dot Allen of Hartselle; a son, Wayne Allen and wife Janet of Hartselle; and three grandchildren, Stacie Allen, Staci Jackson and James Jackson and wife Becka.
Pallbearers were Ramon Wallace, Larry Metzger, Coy Turney, Jerry Tecihmiller, Leon Blankenship and Euel James.
