A graveside service for Jewell M. Wright, 94, of Decatur was Mon., Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indiana. Peck Funeral Home handled local arrangements.

Mrs. Wright died Thur., Jan. 26, 2012, at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur. She was born July 20, 1917, in Indiana to George Willard Archibald and Shelby Lee Goldman Archibald. She was a member of Decatur Christian Church and was a talented seamstress who enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joe Wright.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth L. Wright and wife Janice of Priceville; three surviving grandchildren, Geoffrey Wright and wife Ellen of Clarkston, Mich., Mari Ruth Pigg and husband Ricky of Nash-ville, Tenn. and Annie Diaz and husband Miguel of Decatur; and five great-grandchildren, Aaron, Jacob, Rachel, Sydni and Harrison.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
