Beth Howell Broom

A graveside service for Beth Howell Broom, 79, of Hartselle was Tuesday, May 2, at 5 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Broom died Sunday, April 30, 2006, at her residence. She was born April 26, 1927, in Hartselle to Sarah Patterson Howell and Arthur George Howell.
She is survived by her husband, Horace Broom of Hartselle; two sons, Mike Broom and wife Lisa of Decatur and Jim Broom of Sewanee, Tenn.; a daughter, Sally Corum and husband Kevin of Hartselle; a brother, John G. Howell of Decatur; seven grandchildren, Michael Broom, Anna Corum, Matthew Broom and Hunter Corum, all of Hartselle, Sarah Broom of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Laura Broom and Alex Broom, both of Sewanee, Tenn.
Grandchildren served as pallbearers.
