Funeral for Joyce Ann Taylor Kritner Griffin, 54, formerly of Falkville, was Monday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gary Miller and Tommy Denton officiating.
Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Mrs. Griffin died Saturday, April 15, 2006, in Martin, Ga. She was born March 19, 1952, in Cullman to Earsie Bates and Roberta Taylor Bates.
She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Wanda Kay Bates.
She is survived by a son, Junior Kritner and wife Amy of Falkville; five daughters, Mary Burrell and husband Glenn, Kay Denton and husband Tommy and Connie Tidwell, all of Georgia, Nancy Kritner of Wetumpka and Kelly Tidwell of Florida; her mother, Roberta Taylor Bates of Falkville; a sister, Jeannie Jacobs of Falkville; nine grandchildren, Kyle and Krystal Burrell, Brittany and Kylee Denton, Shane Jr. and Bryterriaus Lacey, all of Georgia, Daniel Williams of Florida, Iesha Hopson of Morgan County and Andrew Kritner of Falkville; two unborn grandchildren; a niece, Jennifer Jacobs of Falkville; two nephews, Jamie Emerson of Georgia and Justin Jacobs of Falkville; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers were Jamie Emerson, Justin Jacobs, Danny Speakman, Glenn Burrell, Herman Burrell and Jerry Gorham.
