Bethel JV improves to 9-1

Bethel’s JV won a tight game against Mt. View 36-30, improving its record to 9-1.

Bethel was led in scoring by Mitchell Gamble with 19, Andrew Dodd with 10, and Isaac Bunner with 7. Mt. View was led in scoring by Hunter Williams with 21.

Bethel’s Varsity (3-6) fell to Mt. View 67-46. Mt. View led at halftime 25-19 and outscored Bethel 21-10 in the third quarter to take a commanding lead.

Bethel was led in scoring by Clint Chisgar with 20, Mitchell Gamble with 14, Cole Schmidt with 6, Isaac Bunner with 4 and Tyler Lawrence with 2.

Mt. View led in scoring by Jason Rother with 26, Sam Mcginnis with 20 and Hunter Williams with 14.

Bethel’s JV (8-1) keep its winning streak going defeating Cullman Christian 51-35.

Bethel was led in scoring by Isaac Bunner with 16, Mitchell Gamble with 12, Andrew Dodd with 12, Shawn Metzger with 8 and Mac Murphy with 3. Cullman was led in scoring by Miles Rakestraw’s 14 points.

Bethel’s Varsity (3-5) dominated Cullman Christian scoring the highest point total of the year winning 84-38.

Bethel was led in scoring by Mitchell Gamble with 25, Clint Chisgar with 23 followed by Andrew Dodd with 17, Tyler Lawrence with 10, Cole Schmidt with 5 and Isaac Bunner with 2. Cullman was led in scoring by Blake Dingler with 16.

Bethel’s Junior Varsity (7-1) defeated Lindsey Lane Christian Academy handedly 38-8.

Bethel was led in scoring by Shawn Metzgar with 13 points, followed by Isaac Bunner 11, Andrew Dodd 5, Mitchell Gamble 4, Mac Murphy 3, and Sam Murphy 2.

Bethel’s varsity (2-5) lost another close one to Lindsey Lane Christian Academy 63-50. Bethel was tied at the end of the second quarter 31-31, but Lindsey Lane outscored Bethel 14-8 in the third quarter to go ahead for good. Bethel was led in scoring by its outstanding freshman Mitchell Gamble with his career high 27 points, followed by Clint Chisgar with 12, Tyler Lawrence with 8 and Andrew Dodd with 2. Lindsey Lane was led in scoring by Randell Jackson with 19 points, followed by Ian Popma with 18 and Daniel Green with 17.

Bethel’s junior varsity basketball team improved to 6-1 dominating Mt. Pisgah 42-20.

Bethel was led in scoring by Isaac Bunner and Andrew Dodd both with 12 each followed by Sam Murphy with 8, Shawn Metzger with 6 and Mitchell Gamble with 4.

Bethel’s varsity basketball team (2-4) beat Mt. Pisgah 50-41 to record their second win of the season.

Bethel was led in scoring by sophomore point guard Clint Chisgar with 23 points followed by Mitchell Gamble with 14, Andrew Dodd with 9 and Isaac Bunner with 4. Mt. Pisgah was led in scoring Michael Licher with 17.
