Funeral for James Thomas "J.T." Kinser Jr., 57, of Decatur was Saturday, Jan. 28, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Cagle officiating.
A military graveside service was held in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Kinser died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, at his residence. He was born Feb. 21, 1948, in West Virginia to James Thomas Kinser Sr. and Ida Mae Kinser. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He also worked as an insurance salesman.
He is survived by three daughters, Shana Kaye Reeves of Walloon Lake, MT, Amy Lynn Legg of Danville and Sunday Kinser of Birmingham; his mother, Ida Mae Kinser of Lakeland, GA; two brothers, Gary Kinser of High Spring, Fla. and Ralph Kinser of Florette; a sister, Becky Patton of Lakeland, Ga.; and eight grandchildren.
