Funeral for Jean Terrell Edmonson, 82, of Cotaco will be Wed., Nov. 23, at 11 a.m. at Cotaco United Methodist Church with the Revs. Eddie Gooch and David Weaver officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Red Oak Cemetery.

Mrs. Edmonson died Sat., Nov. 19, 2011, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Nov. 13, 1929, in Morgan County to Eugene Wells Terrell and Gladys Fields Terrell.

She was a member of Cotaco United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by a son, Morris Kay Edmondson Jr., two sisters, Sue Parker and Carolyn Driver, and a brother, John Williams Terrell.

She is survived by a son, Steve Edmondson and wife Colleen of Cotaco; a daughter, Cynthia Daniel and husband Mike of Madison; a sister, Doris McCutcheon and husband Johnny of Somerville, four grandchildren, Rachael Edmondson, Hannah Edmonson, Catherine Daniel and Alex Daniel.

Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.

The family thanks the staff of Madison Manor Nursing Home for its care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cotaco United Methodist Church or Madison Manor Nursing Home.
