Funeral for Lucy Wiggins Garner, 87, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Dec. 27, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Vandon Windsor and Jeri Hunt officiating.
Burial was in Forrest Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Garner died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, at her residence. She was born March 2, 1918, in Morgan Country to James Tucker Wiggins and Eula Myrtle Halbrooks Wiggins. She was a homemaker and a member of Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sebren Allen Garner.
She is survived by one son, Joe Allen Garner and wife Elizabeth of Birmingham; a daughter, Ramona Garner James and husband Earl of Hartselle; five grandchildren, Teresa Sharp, Susann Sullivan, Renee Stephenson, Gregory James and Gerald Garner; five great grandchildren, Sara Sullivan, Christen Stephenson, Matt Stephenson, Leah Stephenson and Lucy Bankstone Garner.
Pallbearers were Chris Stephenson, Mike Wiggins, Jim Pickens, Bobby Sharp, Gerald Garner and Bill Pettey.
Honorary pallbearers were the men of Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church.
