Funeral for Myrtle L. Wolfe, 89, of Arley was Sunday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Fred Lackey officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Wolfe died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper. She was preceded in death by parents, William R. Bates and Virgie Bates; her husband, William E. Wolfe; a son, Clifford Wolfe; two grandsons, David Wolfe and Scott Wolfe; grandchildren, Tracie Chapman and Wolfe Twins; and a great-granddaughter, Page Wolfe.
She is survived by five daughters, Gladys Fowler and husband Donald, Patricia Hurley and husband Loyd, Bernice Gray and Margie Lewis, all of Arley and Rachel Bailey of Adger; four sons, James Wolfe and wife Gail of Adger and William C. Wolfe, all of Adger, Bobby Wolfe and wife Carol of Minor and Barry Wolfe of Russellville; a sister, Laverne Dobbins of Danville; a brother, John Bates and wife Kitty of Florida; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were D. J. Chapman, Chris Fowler, James Allen Wolfe, Bobby Ray Wolfe Jr., Loyd D. Hurley, Chris O'Rear, Randy Wolfe and Eddie Wolfe.
