Funeral for Lavern Entrekin, 81, of Decatur will be Wed., Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Tues., Nov. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Gum Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Entrekin died Sun., Oct. 30, 2011, at Decatur Health & Rehab Center. She was born July 6, 1930, in Morgan County to Hobson Ward and Birttie Milligan Ward.

She is survived by five brothers, Jerry Ward, Harold Ward, Thomas Ward and Ronald Ward, all of Hartselle and Huie Ward of Tenn.; and a sister, Mary Nell Mekras of Hartselle.

Pallbearers will be nephews and brothers.
