Funeral for Wanda G. Holt, 58, of Trinity was Friday, Oct. 14, at Forest Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Ray Stanford officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Holt died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at her residence. She was born Dec. 29, 1946, in Morgan County to Verbon B. Davis and Dessie P. Roberts Davis. She was a loving and wonderful mother. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Eleanor Fay Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Herman L. Holt of Alabama; two sons, Tony L. Davis of Trinity and Danny Holt of Athens; two daughters, Shelia Wooten of Decatur and Tabatha Bledsoe of Anderson, S.C.; five brothers, Verbon Davis, Jr. of Falkville, Ernest H. Davis of Valhermoso Springs, Cecil E. Davis of Somerville, Verlon Davis of Birmingham and Stephen Davis of Lacey’s Spring; five sisters, Laura Josephine Sult of Valhermoso Springs, Willie R. Hall of Decatur, Dessie Louvinua Suit of Valhermoso Springs, Brenda Jane Muckenfuss of Prince Georga, Va. and Beverly Ann Jenkins of Lacey’s Spring; eleven grandchildren, Tony Lynn Davis Jr. ,Brittany Ann Davis, Daniel T. Davis, Kayla M. Davis, Zachary A. Garmany, Conner A. Garmany, Morgan Thames, Jordan Thames, Brittary Bledsoe, Brandon Bledsoe and Robert Wooten.
Pallbearers were Chris Bledsoe, Kayla Wooten, Brian Davis, Lee Davis, Kurt Muckenfuss and Greg Hall.
