Funeral for Flora Irene Payne Parker, 98, of Falkville will be Thursday (today), June 16, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Price officiating.
Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Parker died Monday, June 13, 2005, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 28, 1906, in Morgan County to L. F. Payne and Myrtle Presley Payne. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Falkville. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Parker and two children, Wyllodean Foster and Jack Parker.
She is survived by her sister, Virginia Cost of Mobile; two granddaughters, Pamela Foster Brown of Nashville, Tenn. and Anita Jo Foster of Columbia, Tenn.; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
