Funeral for James "Jim" Edwin Pearce, 56, of Hartselle was Saturday, May 28, at 1:30 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Pyle officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Pearce died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Feb. 20, 1949, in Tuscaloosa to Charles Pearce and Leona Craig Pont. He was owner of Appliance Care Inc. and was a columnist for Appliance Service News.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Tucker Pearce of Hartselle; three sons, Matt Pearce and wife Jennifer of Huntsville and Zach Pearce and Adam Pearce both of Hartselle; one daughter, Kim Wingard and husband Peter of Harvest; his father and stepmother, Charles and Jo Peace of Huntsville; his mother and stepfather, Leona and Walter Pont of Huntsville; four brothers, Ron Pearce of Montgomery, Steve Pearce of Birmingham, and Robert Pearson and Jeff Pearce, both of Huntsville; two stepbrothers, Mike Johnson of Madison and Scott Johnson of California; one stepsister, Kim Rehage of Madison; and three grandchildren Amberlee Pearce, Jordan Pearce and Tyler Wingard.
Pallbearers were Bill Chambers, Nickey Pearce, Hugh Oneal, Raleigh East, Jim Parker and Curt Lavine.
