Funeral for Zachary John Thomas, 20, of Decatur was Sunday, May 29, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ronnie Bullard and Lynn Morgan officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Zachary died Friday, May 27, 2005, at his residence. He was born May 21, 1985, in Morgan County to Daniel R. and Vickie Johnson Thomas. He was a member of Stoney Acres Baptist Church. Zachary attended Decatur High School Developmental Program and the after school program at the ARC of Morgan County. He participated in Special Olympics of Morgan County, winning numerous awards.
He is survived by his parents, Daniel R. and Vickie Johnson Thomas of Priceville; and a sister, Danielle Thomas of Priceville. Pallbearers were Mike Compton, Paul Compton, Matthew Compton, Shane Alexander, Matt Nix and Michael Knox.
