Funeral for Martha Jean "Jennie" Smith, 60, of Hartselle was Sunday, May 22, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Sammy Evans officiating.
Burial was in Cook Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died Friday, May 20, 2005, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Jan. 21, 1945, in Morgan County to Johnny Eugene Jones and Willie Ruth Holbert Jones. She was a retired nurse.
She is survived by four sons, William Gene Ledlow of Decatur, Michael Gerome Ledlow of Moulton, Mark Edward Skidmore of Quincy, Ky. and Terry Cannon and his wife Donna of Tuscaloosa; two daughters, Marisa Lynn Skidmore of Quincy, Ky. and Jacequelin Ledlow of Trinity; three brothers, Gary Wayne Jones and Kenneth Ray Jones, both of Decatur and Danny Barnett of Falkville; two sisters, Marie Butner of Hartselle and Jewel VanKeuren of Cullman; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Brandon Jones, Dewayne Jones, Kyle Cannon, Glenn Butner, Sam Halbrooks and Lenny Tatro.
