Funeral for Linda Clements Stephens, 65, of Hartselle was Monday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Falkville with the Rev. Kenneth Weldon officiating.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Stephens died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at her residence. She was born July 15, 1939, in Morgan County to William O. "Doc" Vest and Evelyn Douglas Vest. She was retired from 3M Company after 32 years of service. Mrs. Stephens was a member of the Falkville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, James M. Stephens of Hartselle; one son, Terry Beavers of Decatur; two daughters, Janet Coley and Christi Goodman, both of Falkville; one stepson, Maurice Stephens of Atlanta, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Diane Krell of Irondale and Lynn Tolbert of Smokerise; her mother, Evelyn Vest; three brothers, Doug Vest and wife Glenda of Hartselle, Tony Vest and wife Lisa of Killen, and Greg Vest and wife Becky of Hartselle; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley or the First United Methodist Church Organ Fund.
