Funeral for Ricky Loyd Barnett, 36, of Athens was Friday, June 11, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Calvin and Rachel Westmoreland and the Rev. Larry Burnett officiating.
Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Barnett died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, in Double Springs. He was born Oct. 2, 1968, in Morgan County. He was employed at Kinro Inc. in Double Springs. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Mr. Barnett was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Barnett and grandparents, Ollie and Nora Barnett.
He is survived by three sons, Josh Barnett, Dustin Barnett and Ricky Dewayne Barnett, all of Hartselle; one daughter, Heather Barnett of Hartselle; his parents, Loyd Barnett of Hartselle and Peggy Jackson of Athens; three brothers, Steve Barnett and Jarrod Barnett, both of Hartselle and Kenny Barnett of Springfield, Ohio; five sisters, Judy Stafford, Jolene Flanagan and Jill Breeding, all of Hartselle, Angelia Mahr of Huntsville and Kristy Evans of Decatur; and his grandparents, Mitchell and Eva Robinson of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were Shannon King, Junior Robinson, Andy Robinson, David King, Bobby Denson and Randy Breeding.
