Funeral for Dan. D. Burleson Jr., 76, was Tuesday, June 15, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Chapel in Decatur with Rev. Buddy Champion and Rev. Mike Free officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Burleson died Sunday, June 13, 2004, at his residence. He was born Sept. 7, 1927, in Decatur to Daniel Burleson and Stella Collins Burleson.
He graduated from Columbia Military School, attended Birmingham Southern University and the University of Alabama.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred B. Burleson; two sons, Dan D. Burleson III of Decatur, and Thomas "Tab" Burleson of Athens; two granddaughters, Dru Burleson and Bailey Burleson both of Decatur.
Pallbearers are Judson Hawthorne, Troy Welch, Webb Lunsford, Stuart Watts, Kent Bevil and Larry Weaver.
