Funeral for Tricie Dean Von Sas, 70, of Trinity was Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at 4 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Dotson officiating.
Burial was in Dancy Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Von Sas died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at her residence. She was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Morgan County to James Mac Steele and Lou Ella Goodwin Steele. She was retired from SMR in Florida. She was a member of New Beginnings Church in Moulton.
She is survived by one son, Robert Schrimsher and wife Sherri of Trinity; 12 granddaughters and grandsons, Vicki Schrimsher, Winnona Schrimsher, Alyenna Schrimsher, Aaron Schrimsher, Adam Schrimsher, Ashley Schrimsher, Apriel Schrimsher and Ashton Schrimsher, all of Decatur; Billy Schrimsher of Virginia. Jennifer Schrimsher and Joe Schrimsher, both of Kentucky, and Patti Pitton, of Chicago; one great grandchild, Amanda Schrimsher of California; two brothers, Bob Steele of Decatur and James Douglas Steele of Caddo; and four sisters, Jimmie Lou Golden of Cullman, Orvlene Borden of Somerville, Nellie Ruth Teichmiller of Cullman and Jo Ann Roman of Virginia.
Pallbearers were Freeman Steele, Danny Golden, Jimmy Taylor, Kirt Teichmiller, Dustion Smith, Stewart Borden and Jamie Steele.
