Funeral for Imogene Gipson Parker, 69, of Hartselle was Tuesday, March 9, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Hermon Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Weaver Cemetery in Marshall County.
Mrs. Parker died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at the residence of her son. She was born Oct. 19, 1934, to Ebbon Gipson and Pearl Causey Gipson. She attended the Church of Christ. She was the widow of Luther Parker, Sr.
She is survived by three sons, Luther Parker, Steve Parker and Allen Parker, all of Hartselle; two daughters, Patricia Shelflett of Russellville and Helen Parker Rodgers of Decatur; one brother, Randall Gipson of Albertville; one sister, Christine McCurrdy of Guntersville; 13 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
