The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Reese of Hartselle of Mr. and Mrs. Benny Rakestraw of Decatur. The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Barnes F. Lovelace Sr.
The church was decorated with ferns and cedar trees, white poinsettias and Christmas packages wrapped in silver and topped with white bows. The altar was adorned with candles lit in memory of the groom's parents.
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of confetti roses in the center with Vendella and Eskimo roses enhanced with a bow of cream sheer Midori ribbon. She chose a formal gown of white silk chiffon designed in the mock two-piece styling.
