Halbrooks, Johnston to wed
Tommy and Anita Halbrooks of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Annell Halbrooks, to Travis Bryan Johnston, son of Alton and Barbara Johnston of Auburn.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Hartselle High School and is currently a senior at the University of North Alabama. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Cecile Balch and the late H.E. Balch of Decatur, and Mrs. Edna Halbrooks and the late Jesse Halbrooks of Hartselle.
The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Lee Scott Academy in Auburn. He is the grandson of Mrs. Ann Adebahr.
The wedding will be held Jan. 3, 2004, at Flint Baptist Church in Decatur.
