Funeral for C. C. "Billy" Mosteller, 74, of Eva was Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. at Eva Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Mosteller officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Cullman City Cemetery.
Mr. Mosteller died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at his residence. He was born Sept. 2, 1929, in Morgan County to C. C. "Lum" Mosteller and Estora Mosteller. He was a member of Eva Baptist Church, the Lions Club and was a Mason. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict where he served in the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by one son, Donald Lee Mosteller; one granddaughter, Julie Diane Mosteller; four brothers, Duane Mosteller, Clyde Mosteller, Burt Mosteller and Bruce Mosteller; and two sisters, Mattie Lou Keeton and Ruby Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Imogene Mosteller of Eva; three sons, James Mosteller and wife, Kay of Hartselle, Leon Mosteller of Eva, and Daniel Mosteller and wife, Janette of Magnolia, Ark.; one daughter, Patricia Mosteller Jeffreys and husband, Steve of New Market; one sister, Elzie Collier of Tallahassee, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Mosteller, Jonathan Mosteller, Jarrod Mosteller, Luke Mosteller, Tyler Mosteller, David Jeffreys and Michael Jeffreys.
