September area events abound
"The Farmer/James Collec-tion of Southern Art" will be on display through Oct. 12. The exhibition brings together some 50 works capturing the people and places of the 19th and 20th century.
"A Stitch in Time: One Family's Legacy," will be on display through Oct. 26. The exhibit features a Victorian Crazy Quilt dating back to 1887.
"Huntsville Collects," an exhibition featuring fine art from the private collections of area residents, will be showing through Sept. 28.
The museum will also hold a community free day Sept. 15.
