Nonprofit to hold Mayberry fundraiser Oct. 26

A Hartselle-based non-profit is holding an inaugural event to raise funds for its mission Oct. 26 in Priceville.  

You Are A GIFT has a mission of empowering mothers to overcome prescription drug addiction, according to its website. It was founded by Hartselle native John Bentley.  

The organization will hold a Clean Comedy event and Mayberry Night fundraiser from 6-8 p.m. at the Priceville Event Center Oct. 26.

Comedians Rik Roberts and Allan Newsome will be the special guests of the evening, that will include dinner and a silent auction. 

Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased online at www.youareagift.foundation.  

The 501C3 non-profit organization is dedicated to partnering with various entities to aid mothers in triumphing over prescription drug addiction and leading meaningful lives. 

The Priceville Event Center is located at 250 Marco Dr., Decatur.
