Danville Neel to host family movie night

The Danville Neel Elementary P.T.O. will host Family Movie Night Sept. 29 at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend and bring blankets and lawn chairs. The title of the movie will be “Lyle Lyle Crocodile.”  They will have food trucks, drinks, Warehouse Coffee, Kona ice and popcorn! For more information contact any Danville Neel School P.T.O. Leader. The Danville Neel Elementary School P.T.O. will hold a fall fundraiser and are selling Tickets for $1.00 each . The following items will be given away 

-6×10 Utility Trailer 

-DeWalt 8,000Watt Gas Generator 

-4×6 shooting house 

The top five ticket sellers will get to go on a special lunch outing. The drawing will take place at Danville Neel Elementary School Fall Festival on Oct. 19 and you do not have to be present to win. All prizes must be picked up within 48 hours of drawing.  Please see any Danville Neel Elementary School Student to purchase tickets.  

Mt. Nebo Baptist Church announces old-fashioned Sunday  

The members of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church will be holding Old Fashioned Sunday Oct. 1. Everyone is welcome to get out their top hats, bonnets, straw hats and bib overalls and enjoy a old fashioned Sunday Service.  Everyone can enjoy and join in singing the timeless songs and hear the word preached, reminding us that truth never goes out of style. Sunday School will start at 10 a.m. followed by worship service at 11 a.m. After worship service, everyone will enjoy a picnic outside, so bring a covered dish and join in the old-fashioned day activities. Those attending can also enjoy playing cornhole, horseshoes and good old-fashioned fellowship .
