Priceville sweeps West Morgan in area matchup

The Priceville Bulldogs swept West Morgan in their area matchup this past week. Priceville improves to 17-4 and 4-0 in area play. 

Priceville 12, West Morgan 3 

JoJo Garrison pitched a complete game, allowing three runs while striking out 13 to lead Priceville to a 12-3 win over West Morgan in an area matchup. Thomas Kerby had a home run and drove in two, while Jackson Prickett and Wes Walker each had a hit and two RBI. Zack Chaney and Xander Gaines each had two hits and an RBI. 

Levi Borden had a hit and two RBIs for West Morgan. 

Priceville 13, West Morgan 3 

Garrison, Walker and Chaney each homered to lead Priceville to a 13-3 win over West Morgan in game two of their three-game series. Garrison drove in four runs, while Walker added three RBIs. Chaney went 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Kerby pitched a complete game for the win, allowing three runs on four hits with 11 strikeouts. 

Borden had a hit and two RBI for West Morgan, while Aiden Kirby added two hits. 

Priceville 12, West Morgan 4 

Chaney had two hits and three RBI to lead the Bulldogs to a 12-4 win in game three. Tyde Borden and Kane Dunn each added a hit and two RBI. Colman Gann pitched four innings to get the win, allowing two earned runs on two hits with nine strikeouts. 

Borden and Gavin Walden each had a hit and an RBI for West Morgan. 

Priceville 10, New Hope 0 

Walker hit two home runs to power Priceville to a 10-0 win over New Hope. Prickett picked up the win after allowing two hits while striking out six over five innings. Prickett also doubled and had three RBI. 

Danville 6, Addison 4 

Reece Cowart hit a home run and had two RBI to lead Danville to a 6-4 win over Addison. Jackson Randolph had two hits, including a home run and an RBI, while Gage Taylor added a hit and an RBI. Ben Capps picked up the win after four innings of relief. 

Whitesburg Christian 3, Falkville 1 

Whitesburg Christian defeated Falkville 3-1 in game one of their area series. Caden Burnett had three hits, while Kole Fitzgerald had a hit and an RBI. Lawson Tew had two hits. 

Whitesburg Christian 6, Falkville 5 

The Blue Devils dropped the series with a 6-5 loss to Whitesburg Christian. Tew had three hits, including a double and an RBI, while Dawson Fowler had a hit and two RBI. Fitzgerald and Owen Teague each added two hits and an RBI. 

Brewer 12, Fairview 4 

Dylan Thomas had two hits, including a double, and three RBI to lead Brewer to a 12-4 win over Fairview. Hunter Knighten added three hits and an RBI, while Logan Powers added a hit and two RBI. Brayden Murphy had two hits and an RBI and Justin Brooks had three hits. Murphy picked up the win after four scoreless innings, allowing four hits with three strikeouts. 

Fairview 7, Brewer 2 

Powers and Lane Owen each had an RBI in the 7-2 loss to Fairview.
