Falkville basketball plays in Hoosier Gymnasium

KNIGHTSTOWN, IN. – The Falkville girls’ and boys’ basketball teams played in Hoosier Gymnasium this past week.

Hoosier Gymnasium was one of the filming locations for Hoosiers in 1986. The gym is located in Knightstown, Indiana.

The Lady Blue Devils lost 61-54 to Randolph Southern (Ind.) Falkville was held to five points in the second quarter and trailed 29-17 at halftime.

Ellie Cate Hill finished with 24 points after being held scoreless in the first half. She hit five three points and had seven rebounds and five steals. Abbey Grace Tomlin added 15 points and four steals. Ella Wallace had seven points and Liza Wallace added six.

The Lady Blue devils hit 11 three-pointers in the loss.

Kaibre Stephen finished with 23 points to lead Randolph Southern. Brianna Smith added 15 points.

The boys’ team lost 73-47 to Alexandria-Monroe (Ind.) Stats were unavailable.
