Local athletes take part in all-star week

Athletes from Hartselle, Brewer and Danville participated in last week’s AHSAA all-star week in Montgomery.

Hartselle’s Tristin Wisener helped lead the North gold squad to a 62.5 – 27.5 win over the South squad. He teams with Bob Jones’ Will Gaddy to pick up the North’s first win of the day, defeating Henry Lanham of St. Paul’s and Braxton Bonner of UMS-Wright.

Brewer’s Hope West helped the North girls defeat the South 75-52 in basketball. She finished with four points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Danville’s Faith Parker was instrumental in the North’s 3-2 volleyball win over the South. She finished with seven kills in the five-set match.
