Authorities charge juvenile after Hartselle shooting

Hartselle police have charged a juvenile with assault and shooting into an occupied vehicle after a second minor was injured in a shooting June 23.
The shooting took place at the intersection of Crestline and Frost streets in Hartselle. According to authorities, one occupant of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was treated and released.
The juvenile was charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle and assault in the second degree.
The juvenile is being detained pending a hearing.
