Special to the Enquirer

Jan. 4, Morgan County investigators executed an arrest warrant at a home on East Upper River Road near Valhermoso Springs.

Jan. 2 the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office had posted a photo on social media asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual in relation to a recent burglary.

Using community tips, investigators were able to identify Jason Lee Majors, 47, of Somerville and determine his location. At the residence, investigators located Majors attempting to hide in a kitchen cabinet.

According to the MCSO, Majors was arrested and charged with theft, first degree; burglary of residence, third degree; breaking and entering an automobile; and giving false name/address to law enforcement.

He was booked in the Morgan County Jail with bond set at $10,300; however, he is also being held on an outstanding warrant from Madison County.
