Volleyball Recap: Priceville volleyball falls in semifinals of Eddie Preuitt Ford Tournament

The Priceville Lady Bulldogs finished 2-2 at the Eddie Preuitt Ford Tournament in Hartselle Saturday.

The Lady Bulldogs opened the day with a 2-0 (25-20, 25-22) victory over 6A No. 8 Hartselle. They went on to defeat Ramsay 2-1 (19-25, 25-20, 15-11) but suffer a 2-0 (25-16, 25-19) loss to 7A No. 10 Grissom to close pool play.

Priceville lost to 7A No. 6 Bob Jones 2-0 in the semifinals.

Zoey Benson had 36 digs, 22 kills, two blocks, and three aces to lead Priceville. Katelyn Falciani had 24 kills, while Emma Rehmer had 35 assists, six aces, and 15 digs. Lacey Clark had 42 digs.

Earlier in the week, the Lady Bulldogs picked up an area win over Randolph 3-1. Falciani had 15 kills and seven digs, Benson had 15 kills and 13 digs, and Emma Rehmer had 21 assists along with 10 digs.

In other county volleyball action, the 3A No. 4 Danville Lady Hawks split matches with 4A No. 1 Madison County and 4A No. 8 West Morgan. They defeated the Lady Rebels 2-1 (15-25, 25-22, 15-13) and lost to Madison County 2-1 (25-16, 16-25, 15-7).

Faith Parker finished with 18 kills and 15 digs to lead Danville. Audrey Marshall added 15 digs, 10 kills, and four aces.
