Hartselle golf players, coach make North All-Star team

The Hartselle boys’ and girls’ golf teams had players and a coach named to the North All-Star teams this past week by the AHSAA.

Coach Chad Gladden was named as one of the coaches for the boys’ team. He recently guided his boys and girls teams to regional wins, with the girls’ team winning sub-state and finishing fourth in the 6A State Championships.

Chandler Voss will be representing the boys’ team, with Alyssa Berry and Lauren Temples representing the girls’ team.

This is the second year for golf to be a part of All-Star Week in Montgomery. All-Star Week will be held July 19-23.

All-Star Week is directed by the Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association in conjunction with the AHSAA. All-Star Week will feature baseball, softball, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls basketball, cross country, tennis and golf.

Other Hartselle athletes named to All-Star rosters are Masyn Marchbanks in basketball, Grace Tapscott in volleyball, Ethan Bray in baseball and Larissa Preuitt in softball.
