Funeral for Mary Lou Wynn Long, 71, of Hartselle was Sunday, June 15, at 3 p.m. at Oak Ridge Methodist Church with the Revs. Tom Elder and Kathryne Perkins officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Long died Friday, June 13, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born December 17, 1931, to Thomas Barclift Wynn and Clara Ethel Sparkman. She was a member of Oak Ridge Methodist Church. She was an Avon representative for 39 years and retired from Hartselle City Schools Food Service.
She is survived by her husband, Medford Long; one daughter, Anena Long Maxwell of Somerville; three grandchildren, Thomas Cooper, Nichole Maxwell and Brittany Maxwell.
Pallbearers were Alton Johnson, Kyle Kirby, Joe McAbee, Louis Depreast, Jerry Roberson and Tommy Hardin.
