Holshouser chosen for AHSAA Volleyball All-Star team

HARTSELLE – The North roster for the AHSAA North-South All-Star volleyball match in July will feature Lady Tigers standout Hailey Holshouser.

Holshouser is the sixth Hartselle player in the last ten years named to the team. Former Lady Tigers to participate were Meagan Zuck (’16), Madelyn Cheatham (’15), Taylor Lybarger (’13), Melissa Paul Hill (’13), and Katelyn Hill (’11).

Holshouser finished the 2019 season with 612 kills, 34 blocks, 801 digs, and 105 aces. She led the Lady Tigers to a school-record 68 wins and a trip to the semifinals of the  6A State Tournament. She helped lead the Lady Tigers to the Morgan County Tournament championship and their second consecutive area tournament title.

“Hailey is very deserving of this honor,” Hartselle volleyball coach Tanya Lybarger said.

“She continually works on improving her game.”

“I look forward to coaching Hailey for her senior year. I think she will have another successful year.”
