Police searching for masked Gamestop robber

Police are searching for a man who robbed the Gamestop on Highway 31 in Hartselle this afternoon. According to a post made by the Hartselle Police Department, the man, who was wearing a mask and hood and driving a dark-colored Honda, robbed the business at 3:30 p.m.

The event is the third of its kind in less than a month after two Georgia men were arrested for armed robbery at Kroger and possession of a controlled substance Sept. 11 and Sept. 14. Londell Ramone Nunn, Jr. and James A. Bloodworth III, both of Decatur, Ga., were the subjects of similar manhunts and were arrested by officers after their respective crimes. Bloodworth did not use a weapon.

Police ask for anyone with knowledge of today’s robbery to contact Lt. Alan McDearmond at 256-751-4917.
