Armed suspect sought in Hartselle robbery

According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement agencies are currently searching for an armed suspect who was involved in a robbery at Hartselle Kroger earlier this morning.

In a Facebook post, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office  described the man as a thin African American male, 6’2 with “poofy” hair in a long black sleeve shirt and jeans.  The man is also described as having an Egyptian cross tattoo on his right temple and camo bandanna, and is believed to be in his 20s.

The suspect was seen in a red four door sedan that was later located at a wreck scene near the landfill and railroad tracks on Longhorn Pass. The post states that an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency helicopter is currently being used to search for the suspect.
