Falkville defeats Woodville for Homecoming

The Blue Devils grabbed their second win of the season at home last Friday in an area-matchup against Woodville 32-6. The homecoming game ended 474 yards of total offense for Falkville. Quarterback Peyton Sallee finished 8/15 passing for 87 yards. Running back Christian Angulo finished with 180 rushing yards on 11 carries.

Isaiah Warnick finished the night with 82 yards on three carries and one touchdown. Mikel Philyaw managed five catches for 96 yards and two touchdowns. 

Others scorers included: Andrew Jones for a 55-yard catch for a score and Lawson Tew for three catches for 13 yards and a touchdown. 

Leading tacklers were Christian Angulo, Brody Lacy and Austin Holmes. 

Falkville moved to 2-1 on the season. 

Falkville will play Valley Head on the road Friday at 7 p.m.
