Hartselle Cadets with the Civil Air Patrol’s General Joe Wheeler Squadron marched down Dexter Avenue in Montgomery last week, part of Governor Kay Ivey’s inauguration parade.

“It was more than just a field trip for these Cadets, but a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in the pageantry of the election of the Governor of Alabama,” said Squadron Commander LTC R. Brian Williams. “Even as it was a cold blustery day, I believe that the memories these young people are building in the Civil Air Patrol will stay with them the rest of their lives.”
