Liberty at state In Wet-Dry Vote

A fight for liberty and individual dignity is happening in Hartselle. Many believe they are doing the right thing by imposing their morality upon their neighbors by use of the police through a law that makes buying or selling alcoholic drinks illegal…some are even collecting much public self-righteousness by claiming it’s the right, safe, and neighborly thing to do. I suppose I just don’t understand how we can consider doing that to our neighbors hospitable or neighborly. To me, it doesn’t tell the world that we love our community, it shows how we don’t care about liberty and individual dignity for our neighbors. The most important aspect of this vote really isn’t about government revenue…it’s about free will and making our own lives our own.
