Funeral for Jessie Louise Reynolds Ward, 88, of Hartselle was Sunday, April 13, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael E. Greene officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Ward died Thursday, April 10, 2003, at her residence. She was born January 19, 1915, in Sheffield to John Reynolds and Izora Hunt Reynolds. She was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church and a former member of Flint Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and was very active in her church. She was the widow of James V. Ward.
She is survived by one daughter, Jan Ward Akin of Birmingham; two sisters, Viola Peters of Huntsville and Cassie Sharp of Dallas, Tex.; one granddaughter, Lynn Akins Elkins of Birmingham; and one great granddaughter, Evie Summers Elkins of Birmingham.
Pallbearers were Doug Weinman, Del Ward, Kris Ward, Nick Ward, Doyle Ward and Wayne Mahaffey.
