The Tigers played a muddy game against Muscle Shoals Tues., March 3, and beat the Trojans 9-4.

The team started the game with five goals in the first 12 minutes.

Senior Dolan Golden led the Tigers offensively with three goals and three assists. Junior Branden Walker had two goals and three assists. Senior Blaine Williams had three goals, and junior Manny Gonzalez had one goal. Sophomore Beau Nosal contributed an assist as well.

Head coach Reagan Rhone said the Tigers needed this win.

“It’s been an extremely frustrating season so far,” Rhone said, “so it was nice to see the guys find their form and have some success.”

The Tigers are now 1-4 on the regular season after having two games cancelled already due to cold or wet weather.

They played East Limestone Tuesday night and will open section play at Austin High School Thursday.
