Funeral for Ruby Mae Clemons, 93, of Decatur, was Sunday, March 9, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Clemons died Thursday, March 6, 2003, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation of Decatur. A native of Morgan County, she was co-owner and cashier at a grocery store then known as the City Market in Hartselle and was the widow of William Henry Clemons. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle.
She is survived by one son, Joe Farrell Clemons of Decatur; two daughters, Edna Frances Clemons Sellers of Meridian, Miss. and Juanita Mae Clemons Frost of Decatur; two brothers, Bruce Ross of Hartselle and Jack Ross of Florida; one sister, Unita Sibley of Birmingham; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
