Marie Lynch Ward

Funeral for Marie Lynch Ward, 88, of Hartselle will be Wed. (today), May 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Anthony Patterson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wed., May 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ward died Mon., May 12, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Oct. 22, 1925, in Morgan County to Ervin E. Lynch and Lena H. Hopper Lynch. She has been married to her husband, Hobson Ward Jr. for 71 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Geneological Society and was a retired LPN – nurse formerly employed by Hartselle Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Hobson Ward Jr. of Hartselle; a son, Randall Ward (Dot) of Hartselle; a daughter, Janice Rollins (Danny) of Somerville; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.
