Danville defeats W. Morgan, HHS

Danville’s Lady Hawks (31-14) defeated West Morgan 17-25, 25-22, 12-2 and Hartselle 25-23, 25-7 in a tri-match at home on Thursday.

Four senior members of the team were honored on Senior Night. They were Sloan Lindsey, Lara Grace Legg, Andrea Carter and Kheala Roberts.

In both matches, Sydni Shelton paced the Lady Hawks in scoring with 31 kills. Kheala Roberts had 22 kills, five blocks and 13 digs, Charlee Anderson collected 52 assists and four aces, Sloan Lindsey had eight digs and three aces and Andrea Carter logged two blocks.

Lady Hawks log two wins at home tri-match

Danville’s Lady Hawks (29-14) recorded wins on both ends of a volleyball tri-match at home on Tuesday/

The defeated Austin 25-16, 25-14 and Addison 23-25, 25-21, 25-14.

Sydni Shelton led Danville in scoring against Austin with 13 kills and a block. Kheala Roberts had seven kills, nine digs, a block and four aces, Charlee Anderson scored 14 assists and four aces, Sloan Lindsey had three digs and Morgan Weatherwax had three aces.

Against Addison, Shelton scored 20 kills and a block. Roberts had 10 kills, nine digs, two aces and a block, Anderson collected 25 assists, three aces and a block and Kellee Stiles scored nine digs.
