Funeral for Iris Ann Bunch Albert Henderson, 81, of Hartselle was Mon., Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Smith officiating.
Burial was in New Hollywood Cemetery in Elizabeth City, N.C.
Ms. Henderson died Sat., Oct. 23, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born June 20, 1929, to William Henderson Bunch and Susie Trueblood Bunch. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Joseph Albert; her parents; five brothers, Melvin Bunch, Herman Bunch, Graham Bunch, Shelton “Poss” Bunch, Winfred Bunch; a sister, Mariam Raper; and a grandson, Frank Joseph Albert III. She was the former wife of James Herbert Henderson.
She is survived by four sons, Frank Albert of Kodak, Tenn., Bill Albert and David Albert, both of Raleigh, N.C. and Steward Albert of Florence, S.C.; three stepsons, Jimmy Henderson of Falkville, Paul Henderson and John Henderson of Decatur; two stepdaughters, Lucretia Jones of Falkville and Rebecca Bartholomew of Hartselle; a sister, Ethel Holmes of Elizabeth City, N.C.; 29 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
