Operation Shoebox kicks off

Members of Shady Grove Baptist Church are once again working on their “Operation Christmas Shoebox” project. Participants are asked to please bring school supplies to the church this month to be put in these shoebox gifts. A lot of boys and girls look forward to getting a shoebox gift at Christmastime and enjoy having gifts they can use at home and school. All help and participation in this project will be greatly appreciated. Church members sent over 600 of these gifts to needy boys and girls around the world last Christmas.

Happy birthday wishes go out this week to Trent Reynolds on Aug. 26 and Andrew Terry on Aug. 28.
Special belated happy wedding anniversary wishes go out to Greg and Heather Roden, They celebrated their 14th anniversary on Aug. 24.
Shady Grove Baptist Church members express Christian love and heartfelt sympathy to Perry and Tina Jones and family in the death of her uncle, Joe Cagle.
