A memorial service for Noah Howell Simmons, 75, of Eva was Saturday, July 24, 2010.
Mr. Simmons died Tuesday, July 13, 2010. He was born March 22, 1935. He served in the Army and Air Force and was retired from Vincent’s Furniture after 26 years of service. He was also a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Simmons and a great-grandson, Seth Simmons.
He is survived by his children, Rosemary Bartram and husband Larry and Teresa Kinney and husband Dwight all of Eva, Donna Hillyer and husband Guy of Norton, Ohio, Leisha and husband Dan of Falkville and David Simmons and wife Cindy of Moulton; one brother, Joel Simmons; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; lots of nieces and nephews; and a very special girlfriend, Shelby Cole.
