John Morris, Sr.

Funeral for John Morris, Sr., 75, of Hartselle will be Sat., March 2, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ben Bates officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sat., March 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Morris died on Wed., Feb. 27, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born Sept. 27, 1937 in Talladega County to Dallas Morris and Louise Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-son, Wayne Reese; and two brothers, Claude and David Morris.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Morris of Hartselle; one son, John Morris, Jr. and wife Kelli of Blountsville; three daughters, Pam Manzzella and husband Al of Birmingham; Sandi Johnson and husband Neal, of Nashville, Tenn. and Regina Sharp and husband Brian of Hartselle; one brother, Bill Morris and wife Joyce of Tuscaloosa; one sister, Jo Ann Reese and husband Denny of Hartselle; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Carolyn Morris of Hartselle.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial donations be made to the Hospice of the Valley or to a charity of your choice.

A special thank you to the staff of Summerford Nursing Home and Dr. Bharat for the exceptional care given to John.
