Funeral for Grace E. Holloway, 70, of Hartselle was Monday, Dec. 16, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Holloway died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at her residence. A native of Morgan County, she was the widow of Guy S. Holloway Sr., and mother of the late Charlotte Lott. She was a Baptist and the former owner of Holloway's Bar-B-Q. She formerly was part-owner of Dar's Thrift Shop and owner and operator of Hartselle Ambulance Service.
She is survived by five sons, Lowell Starr Jr. and Charles Michael Starr, both of Somerville, William Greg Holloway, William Guy Holloway and William David Starr, all of Hartselle; one daughter, Clara Darlene Roper of Hartselle; one brother, William Joe Hormel of Falkville; one sister, Clara L. Hormel of Hartselle; 18 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wendell McLemore, Justin Roper, Gene Roper, Chuck Starr, Brian Guess and Dale Guess.
